Grill Charcoal and Grill Charcoal Briquettes DINplus

The standard DIN EN 1860-2 "Grill charcoal and grill charcoal briquettes" and additional requirements fixed in the certification scheme programme are the basis for grill charcoal and grill wood coal briquettes in high quality. These can be indicated with the quality mark "DINplus".

The quality mark DINplus is well-known and recognized in the fuel industry by the certification of wood pellets.

Additional Requirements:

• Particularly low ash content:
  • Grill-Holzkohle: max. 4 %
  • Grill-Holzkohlebriketts: max. 15 %
• Particularly high carbon content:
  • Grill-Holzkohle: min. 80 % (wf)
  • Grill-Holzkohlebriketts: min. 65 % (wf)
