Grill charcoal and grill charcoal briquettes DIN-Geprüft

The European Standard DIN EN 1860-2  ensures the burning capacity for charcoal and charcoal briquettes. The allowed part of carbon, water and ashes are defined exactly.

Wood which is treated with wood preserver or any other coatings is not allowed for the production of charcoal. Even other additives, i. e. pitch, bitumen, glas, slag rust and many more are not allowed too.

The package of the products must bear the warning "Attention! Don't use spirit, petrol or comparable fluids for lighting or relighting!"
