The DIN certification marks for conformity with standards document the compliance of a product, a service or a process with the requirements specified in DIN, DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards as well as in appropriate certification schemes. The mark is awarded after testing/inspection by a neutral body and the evaluation of the results and is subject to subsequent surveillance.
Certification is based on the rules governing the award of the mark concerned.
In order to prevent misuse of the mark, a registration number given by DIN CERTCO has to be placed next to the mark.
